
Nichole LeFebvre
Nichole earned her MFA at the University of Virginia, where she taught creative writing, including a course on “Unearthing Fiction” at the Albert
and Shirley Small Special Collections Library. She has received fellowships from Hedgebrook, the Community of Writers, and the Virginia Center
for the Creative Arts for her memoir-in-progress Come Clean with Us. Her recent work can be found in Catapult, the Los Angeles Review of Books,
and Fourth Genre. A member of the National Books Critics Circle, she reviews literature in translation and served as a judged for the 2022
Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize.
In a previous life (i.e. as a teenager) she played piano and saxophone. Her most memorable performance was with the world-renowned
Young @ Heart Chorus at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton,
Massachusetts. She grew up in Western Mass and lives in Oakland, California, where she writes, draws, and works in non-profit communications.
